Company history
Microgaming was established in 1994 on the Isle of Man and is credited with building the first online casino software. In 2003 it co-founded eCOGRA, the independent testing and certification body.
In May 2022 Microgaming completed the sale of its entire games portfolio and its Quickfire distribution business to Games Global Limited. The original Microgaming company was renamed Apricot Investments in 2024. Games Global now owns and distributes the titles that carry the Microgaming name, alongside games from other studios.
Game history and notable releases
